Quotey Cushion

I made this one for my aunt for Christmas as it is a quote that is quite close to her heart.

When I bought this cushion I didn't realise it was all sewn up with no zipper. So I had to make do.





I printed the quote out and then pinned it to the cushion. From there I went over the words with a pen until I presses though onto the fabric. I probably could have just written straight onto the cushion but I wanted a particular font for it.

I then had the issue if how I would secure the thread one I had finished/run out of thread. In my last minute rush super glue seemed like the obvious choice.

Of course these things never work out like they're suppose to and I ended up getting a drop on the fabric. I was gutted, but consoled myself with the knowledge that now it definitely looked handmade.
