I decided that because I wasn't working I was going to make Taggies. I set out to Spotlight to grab my material, and after half an hour or so spent just in the ribbon section I was ready.
I grabbed my helpful assistant and had her sort the ribbon for me. Note to self, some things are best done yourself.
Because I'd never made anything like this before I guessed the materials I needed. I used quilting fabric for the front and Terry toweling for the back, thinking it would be good to mop up dribbles. I know now that this is not the best fabric to work with and will use Minkee next time.
The inside had a nice crinkle and the little tags on the outside are great for the little uns.
These have since become a UFO because of how difficult I was finding the toweling and how to flip the material right side without tearing the crinkle material inside. I will get back to the one day soon.
